The photos in this tour include the first and second floors at 26 Market Street. This a federalist period home built around 1800. Many units feature the famous Seacoast wide pine floors, federalist appointments including fireplaces. Beginning with the first floor we see unit #1. This unit offers a lovely full kitchen with exposed beams in the ceiling. The kitchen is fully equipped with large and small appliances and is large enough for table seating four. The units all have full kitchens, baths and living rooms separate from the bedroom. In the second tour, unit #2 on the second floor is shown. Both units have original Rutherford fireplaces that provided families with all of their heat in the bitter cold New England winters. Brrr!
In addition to the suite with kitchens, we have two guest rooms at 24 Market Street. These rooms are furnished in the traditional style of an antique house, in this case a colonial era home likely built by a shipwright. The rooms feature a queen bed down and double up, plus amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker. TV with HBO is also included as as wifi.
Suite #1, First Floor 26 Market

Room #2, Second Floor 24 Market
This is one of two original bedrooms in the home. It has corner posts, wide pine floors and original windows. Roomy and cozy.

Suite #3, Third Floor 24 Market
This is cozy two-room studio has a kitchen area, living room and separate bedroom. It has exposed ceiling beams, corner posts, wide pine floors and skylights. The space may remind you of a Paris apartment!
